I've been anticipating this game since a year ago, and its finally beginning tomorrow afternoon, the gameplay is different from other MMORPGs, as the actions are fast and furious, creating combos through skills and normal attacks your own, as well as going along with a storyline to make things better ! rated as the top PVP game, I believe it's going to make me have a heart attack going around killing other players when its going to be implemented.

I shall not elaborate more, because none of the readers here, in other words my friends here, either got no time to play or are not into MMORPGs. oh well.

alright, I realized I haven't been blogging for quite some time. but well, its all because I'm a lil bit lazy plus I had too much fun.

work has been like the usual, just that I heard there would be some changes that would actually benefit us, it will ultimately having shorter total working hours which will really be office hours already. but no one knows when it will begin yet. well, I just hope things go well.

I've been hanging out with BHWR and clique, which kind of make time flies. go out eat, slack at his house, playing SF4 all night long, until I felt so shagged. lol.

this week's been a fun week :)
and I'm looking forward to eating ice cream with my SLS colleagues tomorrow !

08 August 2011 - Weekend Chillout

weekends are busy days for BHWR clique.

Saturday - preparations for the wedding, the dance practices for those involved and I'm doing the videoing. going to BH's house to chill and play board games / PS3 / Mahjong and whatnot. my Saturday flew just like that, a whole day seemed as though it was only a few hours. it made me very shagged on the day itself.

Sunday - went to Yishun safra to play snooker and Rock climbing, with a smaller group of people compared to Saturday. I seriously suck at Rock climbing. I was the worst among everyone ! I can't even reach half the height man. when I was observing how the rest climbed I was like "woahhh, all can climb so well.." for a moment I felt so inferior. I tried hard, but the highest point I reached was not even half of what they could reach. thats how lousy I am ! nonetheless it was fun, and I told them I'm not gonna concede that easily ! I shall climb again someday and conquer at least 1 waypoint !

I went back and reached home at 6 to have a short nap and watched 龙拳 with them. that movie, is a waste of money. if you don't believe me, you can go ahead and waste your money on it. I can guarantee you after the movie you rather go watch any other movies.

its 2am now, a Monday..fortunately my leave was approved and I don't have to go to work. I'm gonna enjoy my remaining 2 days of rest x)

have you ever looked back at your life? through the several years that had passed, is there something that occurred to you that left an impact on you such that you will never forget a certain incident?

I did, and until now I do not know whether it's a moment worth remembering. it was a dream, or rather a flashback, that kind of replayed certain events in my past. it was vague, but up until now I could remember what really happened as I had written the events that happened in my previous blog.

I choose to keep whatever happened silent here now and then, it's not meant for any readers to know it anyway. all I can say is that the flashback made me realize, I was never someone lucky, and I had immense hatred for the people who messed up my life, including myself.

I shouldn't be harping on it anyway, because it is already so long ago. the hatred was long gone, much as I tried to rebuild what was ruined after a few years later, I still failed terribly. it was then I realized another thing. I hardly put myself into the shoes of others.

I would ask myself whether I'm a selfish person. I have no answer honestly, only those around me would know. I have never asked my friends this, but sometimes I do feel I am very selfish, not sparing a thought for others.

enough of this ranting that you guys wouldn't know anything about. you would probably find me crazy if I go on writing it.

the result of sleeping too much during the day is causing me to suffer from insomnia right now. for some reasons, I feel like I can't sleep during the night and I am deprived of sleep during my resting hours at work.

I feel very weird, because I seem to have built an irregular sleeping routine again. so now I got nothing to do, cannot sleep, MSN giving me problem and I cannot go online, all I can do is to stare at my computer screen blankly. what a life.

I had a dream, dreaming that my alarm clock was spoiled. in my dreams, the alarm rang and rang. I forced myself up, using my hand to slam the clock, thinking that it would be silent after that. unfortunately, it kept on ringing, which really annoyed me.

I dismantled the alarm clock, in which I didn't know how I did it, into pieces. IT WAS STILL RINGING. I felt kinda freaked out, so I carried the thing and ran around my house. it kept on ringing and ringing...until I woke up from my dream, only to realize that, I switched off my alarm clock in my dreams, no freaking wonder it continued ringing.

that was then I realized. my sense of hearing is in reality but my mind was still dreaming away. this is the second time it happened. the first time in which it happened was when I was sleeping and the radio was playing a song. I woke up to find the song, went back to sleep playing it on repeat mode.

I find myself a kinda heavy sleeper. if I don't wanna wake up, no matter how much the alarm rings, I would probably still be in my dreams.

really really very very tired these past few days. sleep is never enough on weekdays like, seriousleh.

11 July 2011 - Crazy HOT Weather

a full day off today, and fortunately I had made some plans to occupy myself a little. I woke up at 8+, observing the weather and it didn't really seem very sunny, like its going to rain anytime soon. if it rained, my day would be ruined so I was hoping it didn't. luckily the day was clear.

met ZH and HJ for swimming, and the weather was crazy by then. HOT totally. the swimming pool with and without the shade has a significant temperature difference when we swam bathed under the sunlight and under the shade.

I thought I would turn darker at the end of the day but I didn't. despite that, after I got home I realized my skin was not tanned. it was red burn, especially the shoulders. usually it would take some time to get burns, but I had it quick today probably due to the weather. fucking crazy. I took a nap the moment I reached home to prepare for my next stuff

slacked at scape Kbox with ZH, Lum, BHWR, and her colleagues. we didn't do anything much there, gossiped a little, girls there are doing the singing. BH was discussing wedding stuffs with a few of them on and off, and I was relaxing at one corner there. Lum was like a bread growing mould since he wasn't into singing too. I found a dont-wanna-sing buddy, like finally.

by the time everything ended, I reached home at 11+, blogging away to kill somemore time, make myself tire and perhaps I would be able to sleep.

back to hectic work cycle starting tomorrow ! like it or not, I still have to live with it.

Did a morning run at Jurong today, 10km, timing at about 75 minutes. I'm very disappointed with myself because my fitness dropped alot. its the same timing as I ran during the 2XU run 3 months ago. maybe I didn't have enough determination, lesser energy. however I put it, fact is I slowed down by 2km with the same timing.

Terrible.

sometimes its not about how hard we try, the amount of effort we put in. people always say, if you put effort to it, you would achieve what you want. just so you know, they are merely words of encouragement. in reality, luck plays a part in every single thing. if you are suay, in other words unlucky, things will never go the right way.

I live a life with much freedom since the end of my secondary school life. all my life, I had never tried all my best to do things in its best. usually I would just smoke through, grumble and then live with it.
in groups I don't make the final call unless nobody wants to make a single decision. I hate making decisions, because I know there will definitely be a few not-so-good response. then again I know sometimes there is no decisions that can please every single one. I've no confidence in many things, so I slipped many chances for many things. I hardly try things again after I fail, because I always feel that even if I try again, the end result is the same.

once, I tried hard for something I want, but it seems that it turned out to be getting nowhere. I put in quite a bit of effort into it, I tried umpteen times but never once I succeeded. I'm disappointed in myself. be it whether I smoke things through or try hard, the end result I see is the same, an Epic Fail.

so whats the point of trying so hard?

I started night court duty this month, something which is different from what I usually do. its to deal with summon cases etc, a simple job actually.

many had said, it's a relaxing job in which I do agree. but well, the working hours is another factor that I considered. true, I don't have to wake up early in the morning on certain days to report to work, but the time I reach home everyday is 9 or 9+ which is actually not to my liking.

worst thing would be, I cannot stick with my team for one whole month :(

just hope this month pass fast.

Sunday morning another run coming !! Jurong Lake Run, its a 10km run this time round. hope I can run within 50 min..but die die must within 60 min !

for those who are into action movies, THIS IS A MUST WATCH !!!!!!

2 and a half hour show, non-stop action at the climax. but if you feel tired before the show started, you may end up falling asleep for awhile, since the middle part had quite a bit of nonsensical talks.

nonetheless, a damn good movie. a pity I didn't get to watch it in 3D. the LIDO IMAX 3D are all booked in advanced for many days. argh

on a side note to rant, today's the first time I was late for work. reason being my IPhone's speaker spoiled. I don't know why but it happened during my sleep. so now I have to live with it until I get it exchanged, hopefully I can get it done on Tuesday.

my work is supposed to be office hours, but I got up at 6am today to rush for work, started at 7.30am and it ended at a near 9pm. I worked a total of 13.5 hours, which part of it is office hours mannnnnnnnnnn..

I went IMH again today (not because I'm crazy like duh), escorting two person there, but damn it we waited for a very long time and that is why it took so long to finish. I almost grew spores on my body while waiting.

ahh well, glad to be back home more or less..

ranting session. few days back I went to register something for my bank stuffs at Newton and they require Pink IC, and cannot use my other card. my application got rejected just because of that. never mind, solution is just produce a passport or a photocopy of my IC. I got no passport, blame it on me yes. I tried to get a photocopy of my Pink IC. I was told I need to request the bank to write in an email for it or else I can't get it.

I called the bank, they told me need to see nationality and that my card did not show it, thus need the Pink IC.

what the hell? I just want something simple, I need to go through so many shit. fucking hell. now I need to wait, and I don't even know if they are going to do anything about it. FML.

as time passes, I realized many changes thats affecting me. its putting me down and I don't really know how to put it.

I'm someone with a lot of friends. the word "friends" is just a term to represent I know that person. there are only a few whom I feel close with, and a few whom I feel I can get close with. I'm a kinda passive guy, so very seldom I take the initiative to ask people out..its either people asking me out or else I would be staying at home, doing my own stuffs..basically rotting actually.

I have a clique with a main organizer, he always try to make outings etc. thus we are all pretty close. while we are still young, we should enjoy as much as we can. maybe thats what we all think. its also probably the best time to be hanging out now while we are still free..in a few months time, I'm afraid things would change when all of us starts to get busy..

day by day, as life gets less exciting for me, time ticks slower. I feel as though my life is all about work..though sometimes there was fun in it, but who knows I'm actually struggling with the system there? so now you all know.

my temper has worsened. I don't have as much patience as I used to be now. with all these negative thoughts, I feel as though I've lost myself somehow. I don't know how to put it but yeah, it seems to be the case. someone told me I'm still dreaming away, asking when I would wake up. I don't know actually.

all these changes, they are changing me for the worse. maybe I'm not determined enough, I let trivial matters affect me, in addition to me thinking too much, things got amplified.

had a short hangout with Tino, Albert and Siqi together with her new friend called Lun I think. went to have Chicken rice at Novena Ville and the chicken rice is..well, not bad. today's hangout is one of the shortest hangout perhaps, some had to go home, while some had to go elsewhere. thus the reason why I'm home so early.

we had small talks, talking about today's outing etc. its plain and simple, yet comfortable. too bad, time is always so short when it comes to meeting up. hope the next outing would come again soon..

guess I should had gave her no choice but to go eat with her brother and family instead of letting her make the decision even though shes the organizer. she would probably be happier eating with her family instead.

I do not deny the fact that I'm a little bit frustrated over what happened, plus I can see that you are not very happy when we exchanged text messages. my apologies if I was harsh, I may have screwed things up but I hope you understand, nobody likes last minute decisions.

but I may have to put myself into your position, the fact that you were tired, then I really shouldn't have any reasons to be frustrated about.

this week flew kinda fast, and I'm glad it did because its been work work and work and its kinda tiring, though theres a bit of fun in it.

met up with ZH KKY and Jason whom I've not seen him for dunno how many months. Uni students are all busy people..its hard to catch up with them sometimes haha.

well anyway, we had dinner at Plaza Sing, an ordinary KFC meal which is full but kinda sickening come to think of it. I don't recommend eating KFC often...once a month or perhaps every two months is enough. that wasn't our main motive though...our main objective of the hangout was this.

Adidas King of The Road SEA Run

its a roughly 18.6km run if I remember correctly, and it will commence on 28 August. we submitted our applications online and there goes $50 for each of us. this is going to be almost 1.5 times the distance I ran for 2XU, so I hope I can endure this 1, followed by a half marathon and maybe a marathon next time. not to forget I have a Jurong Lake run on July too...but that run is 10km so I guess I can survive that.

sad thing is, I've not been running recently...how to train like that =(

I'm quite determined to participate in many coming runs for my NS phase though, one thing is to get more finisher medals, second is to lose some weight because I suppose I've been gaining due to the many good food I've been "vacuuming" throughout these periods.

well, I need to be more disciplined I guess, I've always lacked determination when it comes to eating. the delicacies are just too tempting you see. BUT !!!! I have to stop eating so much, especially chocolates which are the main source of my sins.

shall have a good rest, and hopefully have a good Saturday nightout..

as we all noticed, the weather these few days is absolutely crazy. the temperature is on average of 32 degrees or higher. sleeping with just the fan on is not enough, and I think I've been using my air-con to sleep, or else I would perspire. how exaggerating is that? but well, a fact is a fact.

even if its raining, the humidity is still there. I start to perspire a little when I walk for only a few minutes. fortunately, or unfortunately, my workplace is air-conditioned, but its too cold.

if I backtrack the many events that happened, I would think of the people who used to be around me, the new people whom I met, the group of "family members" I have known for years.

there were pains, as well as some joyous occasions. I always asked myself whether everyone is doing well. those whom I'm able to meet them still, I know they are fine. those who are a distance away from me, its hard to guess whether they are doing good. I hope they are though, after all they played a part in affecting and changing my life. good times, bad times, when you think of them its just kind of funny, how we used to screw things up when we could simply avoid them all.

but then again, I hate to question myself too much, for I know I should be focusing the present, and not the things that has happened and ended before.

does it seem unreasonable if I am a little bit put off with the fact that a group of my friends can only make last minute decisions and then ask me to hang out with them?

I really hate last minute plus unconfirmed outings, because if I agree to hang out for such unplanned stuffs, I would not be able to go anywhere else with other group of people who can make confirmed plans.

what I'm trying to say is, whats wrong with making plans ahead seriously? is it that difficult? have you guys ever tried organizing an outing you planned ahead, but the people you asked all gave you a "see how" answer? not because they are not free but rather they can tell you they don't feel like going at that very last minute, so you know they won't be going only at that last minute and the whole thing is cancelled just like that. waste of brain cells.

I can understand if people cannot make it on the last minute because they are called back for work due to urgent matters or they have important family stuffs to settle, but don't feel like going? what the fuck right? then just say no in the first place damn it. I stopped making plans since then when I had those terrible experiences.

today I received a call, the movie starts at 8pm+, I dunno when they had planned to watch it among themselves but they called at 7.30pm to ask me if I wanna go. you tell me whether how last minute is this?

majority of the people in this world don't cherish what they have and take things for granted. it is only when they have lost it, they start to realize the importance.

whether or not second chances would be given for them to gain back what they have lost once, I'm not sure, because both options are possible. but if they had cherish what they had back then...none of such things would have happened isn't it?

I came up with an analogy (not sure whether its from anyone but I thought of it myself). its like using your hand to grab hold of something. if you grab it too loosely, it will slip off from your hand. if you grab it tight enough, it will never slip off...

and it is because we always take things for granted, when we lose it, we then realize the importance of it.

Typical Human Beings. that probably includes myself. don't be too complacent in life, learn to be contented with what you have, so you won't lose sight of the things around you.

I got slammed today, I got smacked on the ear during the training today. its a powerful take down, and I'm glad I learned some stuffs somehow, though I have to pay a price for my ear. hurts alot initially man...I had the *eeeeeeeeeeeeee* sound for quite awhile, so you can imagine how crazy it was. fortunately its not as painful anymore.

I slept right after I came back from work yesterday and I just woke up 15 minutes ago. I thought I would just be taking a nap (but I was really god damn tired), ended up I slept through the night, and had dinner skipped even.

alright, lets continue from where I was back in the morning. as I said I did not sleep last night probably because I was too excited so I was wide awake...ok I was actually feeling very tired when I took the train to Promenade.

I set my personal goal, to finish the run within 70 minutes but I exceeded by roughly 5.5minutes, but still it was a good run I must say...really got that bit of adrenaline rush, I wouldn't be able to run 12km if I'm to run at the areas near my estate.

I can tell you how tired I am after I finish work every day. it happened on the way back home. I fell asleep standing, and I was less than half conscious. I opened my eyes a little, trying to grab on to a side pole thats near the door....in the end I almost grabbed onto someone's arm instead. I think he did turn and looked at me but I couldn't care so much because I was so fucking tired.

I need to adjust my sleeping hours or else I.Will.Really.D.I.E.of.Exhaustion.

03 March - POP

I would like to talk a little bit about my own squad after living with them for 4 months. still remembered the first day where we all came into enlistment, all of us were so quiet, trying to get to know one another a little. after some time, most of us got rowdier and of course, closer.

we have our stupid moments, most of us including myself...some of us can't shout loud enough, I got scolded because I didn't want to write lines for punishment, got caught sleeping in study room. we get punished because we are slow, and many more seriously..by the time I name them all, its going to be almost endless.

a few have serious attitude problem...and a few can't mix with us well because he is really plain dumb and no one can correct me regarding this sentence. nonetheless, almost all of us can hang with each other still. usually we get punished together due to these stupid things, but we got over it soon after.

bonds are stronger when we are doing physical trainings together. we support each other during our trainings, we roared out loud telling each other to endure. at times, we get into trouble together, but probably thats the best part of our lives in the Academy. I have very funny bunkmates, who never fails to make all of us laugh, song parodies, funny actions, doing silly things and never ever got caught before. just by recalling it and typing this out now is enough to make me giggle a little. lol.

I have a very humble squadmate named Ivan Tan, an optimistic guy with loads of determination, respectable guy and someone whom people can look up to. he made the squad proud, being the best among all officers. he feels the most upset when we have to split up, for he believed we would never have such a chance to gather up again which is true. but we all know that we would remember how we survived these 4 months.

its been a great journey, and now we have to move to our next phase of our NS life. I got my posting, and I did not get what I wanted. but well, I have to perform my duties still. so yeah.

Celebrated my birthday with 2 groups of friends on Saturday. its a simple celebration this year without anything thats blasting but I kind of like it. a pity I couldn't have a chance to celebrate with BHWR's clique, if not it would have been more meaningful this year.

nonetheless ! I'm contented to have 2 small celebrations in a day. its very heartwarming somehow, especially the night outing.

day by day, I'm reaching nearer and nearer to POP day. for the whole week we had drills training all day long, which was a lil taxing, but we all managed to get through it.

yesterday was my birthday, well...I got birthday-bashed by my lovely NS-mates, and then just got through the day normally.

reached home today afternoon, and then saw emails got flooded due to birthday posts on the wall. anddddddddd...I wasn't really in a good mood today after knowing tomorrow night would be a half-empty outing again...

in my current life now, my needs are simple. I've got most of the things I wanted...a good keyboard, a good mouse...better relationship with family members, great friends and buddies, secured my promotion for my NS when I pass out from the academy..despite all these, I'm still unsatisfied with my life.

I should be happy that I've got almost everything I asked for, except one thing which I've been trying to get. but no...I failed miserably as always, and probably thats why my puzzle is never complete..

yesterday night was the first time I went out to have dinner with my NSmates, I only saw a third of them turned up though. it was a long ride from my house, but maybe it was quite worthwhile since the food there was kinda nice.

They have two menus, a western as well as a tze char menu, so you can guess just how much variety they have. I tried both, a maggi goreng pataya and a Bangs and Mashes (Sausage + Potato). I forgot to take pictures of the food, but it was quite nice, and worth the price. $6 and $11 respectively.

those who are looking for budget and hunting for good food, maybe thats one of the place you can go. there are alot of other eateries as well...its going to take forever to try all the food if I'm going back there again. anyway its very inconvenient for me to go there just to eat, but if I'm near east areas next time, I would have my dinner there again.

I didn't know I had a digital camera in my house until few days back, it was in my brother's room all along and he did not use it at all. I took the camera and took pictures for my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate and Deathadder but after taking 2 or 3 pictures, the memory was full, reason being - my brother bought the camera, the salesman gave him a useless SD card instead of a microSD card, and tada the camera became useless. so I had to be the one buying the microSD card...waste my money.

before there was microSD card in the camera, I had to upload that few pictures before I could take the next 2 or 3 pictures. pissed off, I deleted the pictures directly from the camera during experimenting.

this camera sucks if flash isn't on. it cannot capture images clearly if there's motion. but its much better with flash so I guess I have to use the camera with flash on even at outdoors -_-

I'm glad my IPPT is over, and I managed to pass with a silver this time round. I finally overcame my Standing Broad Jump after my constant training.

now that its over, its time for me to take a break from exercising and rest my voice. I realized I lose my voice everytime I enter the academy and that really sucks because that would mean I cannot talk properly. everyone in the camp had already forgotten how my original voice sounded, including myself. arghhhh.

I've got another 3 days of block leave, so its time to SLACK !

and Huijie ORD liao, he's gonna start his uni phase soon, but for now I guess he shall rest and play, and probably find work to do. meanwhile I just hope he doesn't continue to pangseh me.

I've been losing my voice for the past few months recently, and because I could hardly talk, I tried to be as quiet as I could.

apparently I realized I'm someone who don't speak much, I'm more of a thinker. nothing keeps me occupied today, so my mind ran through alot of stuffs again. I'm thinking where I would be 2 years later, how the world would be like by then...where on earth I would be working in the future.

I have a Diploma that I have no use for because I have no intention of working in the engineering field. I don't really have a direction where I should go, and I feel like my future's ruined, screwed.

who knows what is going to happen in the future...for now, just get over my NS before I think again.
and IPPT...if I can't get my promotion because I fail, I know I will curse and swear like a broken recorder.

05 February - BH's Outing

I went out early in the morning to meet BH and the rest. to keep words short, basically we just went house visiting.

4) to another House for another Housewarming and Card Games

the guy with a super duper big family. and again, its the same thing. the house is probably so huge that you may lose your way if you went there the first time. you can even play hide and seek there.

I really regret not having a camera phone with me anymore because I can never capture much of the events that took place personally. we have no one who is very into taking pictures...maybe once in a while though. maybe its time I should get a camera phone soon !

Ang Bao Collections with Winnings this year is about $350...now my expenses are covered up. thank goodness =\ lol

First Lunar New Year of the day, and I guess I will be at home all day long. there's nothing much for me to do except facing the computer, checking out facebook, play some games, and then sleep after my relatives leave the house.

every year, I only look forward to go BH or SR house to celebrate my CNY, because parties are always held there, its crowded and there's much more stuffs to do there...well, it comes to the best part in what we do - Gambling, and Drinking Alcohol (exclude me, I don't touch alcohol, offering me lime juice would be nice)

maybe tomorrow would be a good day too, if I'm able to hang myself at CC's house to slack. oh well ! CNY is nothing much for me except collecting about $200 to $300 (I know, its kinda little compared to what others are given) every year. just nice enough for me to cover my expenses for new stuffs. but hmmm...I may be spending more again soon, for a keyboard and a mouse which will add up to roughly that amount too...zzz

anyway whatever, its a boring post, the main thing is to just wish all my friends out there !

the day I was waiting for arrived, and was over quick as well. yesterday was Chong's birthday, and we (Siqi, Chong, Jason Luah, Albert Lai, John Tan, Vincent, Lisa, Me) celebrated it kinda late because of my late bookout (which really totally sucked because I have to book in 2 hours earlier on Sunday again wtf)

we had steamboat, just like the first time I went out with them which was probably more than half a year ago, but with a birthday cake this time round. unfortunately I couldn't take any picture of it. the steamboat was ok, but I hated the steam that came from the soup base, because it had been blowing at my direction from the start till the end. whattheheck.

the steamboat lasted for about 2 hours probably and we proceeded with the cake, and the birthday song for Chong. that cake could have been perfect for me, if there wasn't any raisins inside, but I had to force it down still. we went to the arcade after that, and my eyelids were already so heavy that it could close anytime but somehow I managed to struggle with it. my legs had 500kg ankle weights attached to me, so I could barely walk and just sat at one corner looking the rest playing.

I don't know why, but it always feels comfortable hanging out with Siqi and the rest...maybe its because they are just like BH and gang, who are forever easygoing. I realized I like hanging out with such people, because we never make things difficult amongst ourselves. lol.

I took a cab back home, and it was the first conversation I would have started with Lisa for the night, but it would all have been random stuffs - telling me to sleep because I was already totally exhausted, my cough, trying out honey water with lemon/lime (in which we concluded would taste very weird), her studies, a mathematical mind test, and a number test that I tried it out but failed miserably for the latter. however throughout the ride she had been figuring how the former worked, probably to keep things going till the destination arrived perhaps. but now I'm already guessing she had forgotten how the sequence worked.

I dunno why we would always fight over cab fare issues. I was given $50 because she had no change, and I don't think anybody including myself would accept it because it wasn't even sharing this way ~~(she had to give me the guilt of owing her money)~~. it was a mess I swear, we both were confused after the little argument that I was forced to take it no matter what, and I had a spectacle box I wanted to pass to her, and so that box participated in the fight as well and it got messier lol. she vrooom-ed off after that.

20 minutes later I'm back home, and when I paid the cab money, the $50 wasn't in my wallet and I got panicked because I thought it dropped in the taxi. I was just scaring myself, that money went to its original owner after all the mess without us realizing. now I no longer have the guilt of owing people money =\

I lost my voice (yes I know again, and someone still said people may have forgotten I had a voice -.-), and its terrible. Chinese New Year is just a few days away and here I am coughing violently away and ~~speaking with the tone of a Robocop~~ not being able to speak.

I discovered another thing, that I shouldn't be so quiet whenever I'm with them, I should be fooling around, mess things up, be noisy and go crazy once in a while. maybe because its fun, but I don't want people to think I'm Really Crazy. all in all, eating was fun, and a fun ride back home. that few hours of fun, comes once in a very long time, when will be the next time again I wonder...

sometimes I do feel a little bit sick and tired of the life during the weekdays now. we had our fun times, but this week was kinda a long week too. maybe its time to do some reflections again.

in a place with many restrictions, things like people can't do this and that, especially smoking, I can feel a little bit uptight at times because of the "you are not allowed to do these" (I'm not a smoker FYI). imagine cooped up in a place where you can't see your dear friends, your family. this is something that most of us have to go through. some try to smoke through certain restrictions and they get away with it, while a few unfortunate ones would get caught for things that they are not allowed to do, and got things in a mess. that very day, one of us got caught for smoking.

two days ago itself, was a long and tormenting day for the group. as a group, we knew we couldn't blame the culprit or anyone for things that happened. the fact that people do risky things always have a chance of getting caught. we can never deny the fact that weekends are damn precious for those who always get cooped up in the weekdays. I cherish my time of freedom a lot, because every week, I only get a rough 50 hours of freedom which is never enough for me.

when we formed up and had a conversation, we were told that everyone would be confined. some had strong objections, including myself but I did not voice it out. I realized some, or perhaps all of us feel the same when the FI intentionally asked some of us the ultimate question:
"what if your weekend is being taken away?"

And that was the time I realized, everyone's the same...
that we all want to get out of that place and spend our time with our loved ones.

we got fucked in the mind, a few broke down because somehow the whole thing was so...dramatic, as though we were killing each other mentally. we told ourselves that we would be more disciplined, all 37 of us but whether how many of us can do it, I can never find an answer to the question.

some people learn things fast, while some will understand only when they learn through the Hard way. but the most fucked up thing is, some will never learn no matter how you teach them, because their minds are fucked up, and I doubt they would ever change.

14 January 2011 - The Desperate Feeling of Going Home

every friday, I would have that desperate feeling of going home. everytime I hope to reach home by 6.30pm but today I reached home only when it was near 8pm. I was feeling extremely pissed because we were delayed for nearly 2 hours for nothing...

I guess many of us would be cursing and swearing inside, having to go home at such a late time. I rushed home as fast as I could. I wanted to put my bag down as soon as possible, take a shower and then have a feast outside, come back and get hooked to my desktop like what I'm doing now.

the only thing left to do now is to just lie down on my bed, close my eyes, have a good rest, and perhaps think of you =\

Gathering with BH and clique tomorrow~ (which means I may not have the time to study, damn !)

now that I'm sick, I can't do any training, which would then hinder my coming IPPT, may have to postpone till another day (if I can don't change the date that would be great), and the focus to study is not there.

09 January 2011 - Feeble

it seems that my immunity system is getting much much weaker. I fell sick at the start of December and it took me until Christmas to recover, and few days back I suffered from a high fever again. 38.8 degrees with my backbone aching, walking like a limp.

feeling bedridden, I wasted my Saturday cooping up at home sleeping.

woke up for lunch, back to sleep,
went to hospital, back to sleep after that.
dinner time came soon after, back to sleep.
woke up at 1am+, took medicine and sleep again until now

this is the most screwed up routine everrrrrrrrr. sigh

01 January 2011 - Welcome to The New Year x)

Happy New Year to readers out there, its a fresh first day of the new year, and I believed majority of us had participated in counting down the arrival of this year.

I had my share of countdown at Marina Square with 3 other friends, the fireworks were simply amazing, to the extent it can make you go "WoW" kind. non-stop 7 minutes of fireworks, with the last big bang to end it all.

It was a sleepless night even though I was exhausted, there were bits of excitement within me, anxiousness, and a little bit uptight...maybe too overprotective over certain things as well.

we headed to Clarke Quay, to hear the booming sounds of the music there, seeing drunkards shouting and screaming away, looking for fights etc...thats one main reason why I hate clubbing places.

none of us had sufficient sleep, and I can tell you I'm extremely lethargic even when I'm blogging right now, I can yawn several times..

from the firm nos, to hesitations. its just confusing.

31 December 2010 - The End of Year

this year seems like the fastest year in my whole 20+ years life. it feels as though I'm still in Poly worrying about my FYP work and my final semester exams, looking forward to the long term break on March..

but no, I've already reached December now, and its going to be 2011 very soon.

I could still remember the start of this year, BR was drinking with the Heineken bottle in which the content inside was actually just plain water. it felt as though it happened not too long ago, then again its a 364+days ago thing.

The first half of my 2010 life wasn't very interesting. I was still having school life until it was March, I was finally free from studies, and that heavy burden was finally gone. things were complicated but life went on. it was a start of another phase of life - Work

I started work in SLS on April, all the way until October, and there was countless of ups and downs. the beginning of the first 2 months was a challenge to me, to learn so many technical stuffs that I had no knowledge of. thank goodness, I survived, and from there on things got more challenging, having to face different type of customers that ranges from the potential buyers, to those who can piss you off almost instantaneously.

during that period, I picked up and learnt a lot of things...temperamental control, getting to see the different types of people, the selfless and the selfish colleagues in the company. but that made my life kinda dull, I had much lesser time to meet with the people I used to hang out with.

I was fortunate to know a few people there whom are really nice people, and that made me have no regrets working during those periods, my showroom people, and the 两姐妹。

work's over, I rewarded myself with a month of rest and rotting at home, and then I got into a new phase yet again, my current phase of life - National Service. my head is constantly shaved bald now and shockingly, I need to study during these few months again.

I cannot recap every little events I had for this year, but honestly just remembering December alone is enough to make me grin widely like a little child. its been a great year, I just hope it would continue the same way in the year 2011

Christmas Season need not be all about exchanging, it can also be a Season of Giving, to those dear to you, to those you love, to those who care for you.

My Christmas had always been dull, or ordinary, until maybe 2 years ago, it started to get fun. but because of bad memories I had last time, I didn't like Christmas that much overall.

then again...this year's totally a different thing...simply because I got to know more people this year, I got to know a few more people who are dear to me.

before I start to go into the boring mood and do my Ten Years Series, I shall make myself smile a little first. after a long long long long long long long long long long long time of not having picture post, I finally got 1 again.

I went to watch this with Donald and WeeChuan at Westmall in the afternoon. I don't like the dark 3D glasses being offered in Eng Wah Cinemas, so thats a minus.
this movie has got great graphics, but the 3D effects ain't alot, so I would say I wasted a few more dollars making myself feel more uncomfortable because of the 3D glasses. overall, the actions were great, and I like the fast-paced musics during one of the fights. We molded ourselves at Subway until 7+pm before we went off for our own activities.

seems like I've left my blog for a whole long week, theres much dust to clear. my weekdays sucked, because I failed my SBJ by a mere 3cm, or else I could have passed my IPPT. I'm born with a pair of legs not meant for leaping =\

anyway, I have a lot of work undone, which means I'll have to spend a lot of time at home reading many questions once again. but well, at least yesterday was great. meeting people whom I've not seen for a long time, like KKY and YL, the last time I saw them they were still bald..now their hair have grown so long, and I'm the one botak..lol.

hanged around at BH's house as usual. quite a bit of photos taken but none of them are with me yet..I hope the rest of them upload asap. my blog has remained wordy for many months without any pictures to reminiscence any events for this whole year..and I still had the thought of compiling my pictures and do some simple editing to summarize the year..guess I have to dream on.

nonetheless, I hope I can do it somehow.
movie later, then shall hang around till very late tonight. and ahhh, I haven't wrapped my gift. sigh!!

its all so beautiful out there compared to the place I'm always in.

I've been staying at home more than often whenever I book out..it feels like I've lost contact with the outside world more or less..I've not been meeting my friends at all, except yesterday when I booked out and had MacDonalds with Huijie..other than that, I think I've cut off all connections with the rest..

I'm feeling kinda stress, with the pile of work I have to do as well as the many thoughts thats running through my mind.

PDT test is going on..
I have IPPT this coming Tuesday and I don't even know if I can scrape through it..
and theres pocketbook and Ten Years Series to be done...I can't believe I have to actually face TYS again in my whole life..argh

and I have to wake up early on a Sunday to do labour work in exchange for not having to book in at night but on Monday morning instead...fair trade or not I'm not really sure but well..waking up early on a Sunday not to have fun is just so..

so much for grumbling, I guess I shall go to sleep already, or else I will be late and get into trouble again.
