17 June 2010 - The 7 Deadly Sins
a time whereby you compare your life with others. they live happily, while you live in anguish. you live with a sin of Envy.
in times of starvation, there is food only for one, but with a handful of people around. you could be the one getting the food and not sharing it to the rest, thus having the sin of Gluttony.
people knows no limit, especially when it comes to wealth. you may do anything to attain wealth. that, is the sin of Greed.
responsibilities are tied to all humans, and each and everyone is tasked to do something, perhaps even the simplest task. you feel lazy, and that you give no hoot about responsibility, just plainly sit one corner and watch. that may be the sin of Sloth.
men all desire a lady of their dreams. admirable, beautiful and elegant. you would make her yours no matter the cost. even if it means abandoning other stuffs that are important to you, with the sin of Lust.
everyone has a temper. there is a limit as to when they would flare up. when rage comes into you, you think recklessly. you wouldnt care about anything else except doing that particular something to release your anger. that, is the sin of Wrath.
competitions in life are inevitable, be it small or major ones. nobody likes to lose, and even though some may have lost, they dont admit defeat. they would abandon everything for the sake of vanity. that is the great sin of Pride.
ah, such screwed up thoughts early in the morning. but I realised, I should keep my Pride the way it once was except for a few who really play a great role in my life.
I probably have regretted picking the wrong person to prioritize back then. this level of importance between parties is something that can Never be Balanced.
